West Palm Dog

I cannot say enough good things about Marti and the trainers at West Palm Dog. I attended the Star Puppy and advanced puppy classes with my miniature poodle puppy. Each class was very well-organized and the trainer made the sessions educational and fun for the puppies. I also sent her to day training to help socialize her and address little sticking points I was struggling with. The day training sessions really worked wonders for her! I was sent videos of the trainers working with her so that I was able to replicate their training on my own. We are now working towards our Canine Good Citizen title and the basic training she received as a puppy is definitely paying off! I highly recommend the entire staff at West Palm Dog.

Marti is the best trainer around! We had what we thought was an uncontrollable Golden Doodle with so much energy and a mind of her own. With Marti's expertise, Gracie has become a lady! She walks by our side and sits when we stop, and she is completely trustworthy at home alone (and that includes any home we bring her for a visit). Marti's professional experience and knowledge has allowed us to enjoy our doodle, no matter where we are. Marti's Boot Camp for refresher courses is a great way to reinforce how your dog behaves. Marti Hohmann you are truly amazing. You have taken Marlee from originally being fearful of water and our pool to dock diving and LOVING IT!! You have gotten Maxi (special needs child) to FINALLY go through the patio doggy door without traumatizing her. Your training is always filled with kindness, consistency, a genius amount of scholastic dog behavior knowledge and research, and a hidden dose of "dog whisperer." Thank you so much. Would never consider anyone else to train my dog children.

Used Marti 12 years ago when we got our new rescue and she was amazing. Trained a very high spirited dog without breaking her spirit. Very kind and gentle. Rescued a 2 1/2 year old dog this year and knew this was where we wanted to go. Walter is our trainer and he is amazing. Takes time to understand your needs and gets to know the dog well. We have just recommended West Palm Dog to someone else and will continue to do so.
