Western Waukesha County Dog

Came to watch my daughter's dog being shown for her first show. I really didn't have any expectations or people experience to go by. I saw a number of ladies trip on what they said is a new show surface. That was a little concerning. Even though it was bitter cold outside, the room was warm. Everyone said they appreciated the area where the dogs could run freely and work off energy. With a 5 month old puppy, that was quite needed for us. The lady showing my dtr's dog was really helpful to another person who was showing for the first time. Gave him hints to keep the dog under better control and later showed him how to groom the dog in a show cut by actually grooming it for them. It was the same breed as ours and will be our competitors in upcoming shows, but she still helped them. The dog looked like a totally different dog, both in the way it moved and the way it looked. All in all it was a good experience, even for a non-dog person like me.
