FirstBarkWe were at our wits end with our 18 mo old GSD. He pulled when walking, jumped on people and just would not listen. After training with Anthony he is a completely different dog. We cant say enough good things about Anthony. He trained our dog and us. He gave us great tools to use going forward. We highly recommend What-A-Canine.

My daughter hired Anthony and his team to turn Ziva into a less reactive and anxious dog. The progress I have seen in the past 4 sessions has been like night and day. Ziva has gone from reacting to everything to a dog that we can walk anytime/ anywhere and now knows basic commands. Really impressed with the results and the commitment that Anthony and his team have.

Got a 10 month old rescue German Shepard/ Belgian Malinois mix that was very hard to handle. Aggressive towards cars, people, dogs, bicycles, scooters, golf carts and more. I couldn't walk her outside with out barking constantly and pulling SO hard. After just 1 session I had a totally different dog. I can take Ziva anywhere dogs are permitted. Walking her is a breeze, & she knows several commands. We were even able to have a session with his personal dog to see how Ziva would be around other dogs.(She was amazing and loved every second of it). All of this training has helped her come out of her shell and become a truly happy puppy thanks to Anthony. I will be doing more training in the future for special commands as well as enrolling her in the doggie training camp! Huge thank you to Anthony and his team for making Ziva my best girl.
If yall need dog training I cannot recommend WHAT-A-CANINE enough! Anthony and his team are top notch dog trainers that meet you and your dog where you’re at. I started working with Anthony when I got a GSP puppy, and within just a couple of months he became one of the best behaved dogs that I know, and we’re just getting started!

We cannot say enough good things about Anthony and his team! We came to him with three very different dogs—two older dogs with some bad manners, one with separation anxiety, and a brand-new puppy in need of basic training. Anthony has been incredible with all of them. He really understands each dog’s personality and adjusts his approach to fit their needs. A special shoutout also goes to Bobbi, who worked with our anxious boy, Charlie, during his board-and-train program. The transformation has been amazing—Charlie went from being anxious about everything to actually loving going to their facility for daycare and training. Honestly, that’s something I never thought would happen, and it has been life-changing for him (and for us). We can actually take Charlie on a walk without him walking us! And we can’t forget Theresa at the front office—she is always a pleasure to see and always greets us with a smile. She helps make every visit feel welcoming and positive. If you’re looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective trainers who truly care about your dogs’ progress, I can’t recommend Anthony and his team enough. They’ve helped us build confidence, structure, and peace of mind with all three of our pups.
