What a Great Dog! offers fun effective, positive, reward-based training in the form of both group classes and private lessons. Our training center, in the Dallas area is 16,000 sq ft with four training rings and private lesson rooms. We have a unique retail shop with training gear, supplies and dog food. Come join the fun!

Do they train for dogs to get along with my cats?

I have a Boston terrier and I was wondering if you do agility course classes, and if so how much?
Yes, the classes are $168 for six weeks. You'll come once a week for an hour. The prerequisite for Agility is having basic obedience skills that you can demonstrate in a ring with distractions (strange dogs and people). If you haven't trained to that level yet, no problem, you can start in our Pet Manners classes to get all the required skills. Check out the website for lots of info and videos. www.whatagreatdog.com

All of our training is done with you and your puppy here at our facility. You come one time per week for 50 minutes each class. We have trained many Rottweilers! Do they do train dogs to be therapy dogs and if so how much would it cost? My pup knows basic training already and wont leave my side wen to go for a walk
Yes, our Therapy Prep class is $100 and is 4 weekly sessions. Dogs who have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen certification are eligible for this class. If your dog doesn't have that, our Manners1 and Manners 2 classes train those skills.

My Wife and I over the last two years? Took our two standard poodles to this dog training facility for manners and puppy classes, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Arwyn, one -year-old poodle, was quite energetic and had trouble focusing, but the trainer was patient and skilled in helping her learn. Rarity, our 7-month-old poodle, is still in training, but we've already seen improvements in her behavior. The trainer has been great at providing us with tips and techniques to continue her training at home, and we've noticed a significant difference in her listening and following commands. The classes themselves were small, allowing for personalized attention and individualized training. We appreciated the emphasis on positive reinforcement and the trainer's clear expertise in dog behavior and training. Overall, we highly recommend this dog training facility for anyone looking to improve their dog's manners and behavior. Arwyn and Rarity are both happier and better-behaved dogs thanks to the training they received here.
We have had a great experience getting our puppy trained here. Laura our instructor is amazing. Because of the time and commitment at WAGA our Madi is becoming an even more amazing companion. We will continue to be a client of WAGA for all our dog training

I now work in vetmed and this is still the place I refer clients when they ask about anything from behavior problems to basic puppy training. The owner is an incredibly amazing person with compassion for what she does and animals that goes far and wide! Take it from this veterinary medicine professional, I highly recommend this training facility, look no further because you have found “The Place”! PS I live in Fort Worth and it is WORTH the drive.
