I have a Boston terrier and I was wondering if you do agility course classes, and if so how much?
Yes, the classes are $168 for six weeks. You'll come once a week for an hour. The prerequisite for Agility is having basic obedience skills that you can demonstrate in a ring with distractions (strange dogs and people). If you haven't trained to that level yet, no problem, you can start in our Pet Manners classes to get all the required skills. Check out the website for lots of info and videos. www.whatagreatdog.com

Do they do train dogs to be therapy dogs and if so how much would it cost? My pup knows basic training already and wont leave my side wen to go for a walk
Yes, our Therapy Prep class is $100 and is 4 weekly sessions. Dogs who have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen certification are eligible for this class. If your dog doesn't have that, our Manners1 and Manners 2 classes train those skills.

This is a review update since it's been two years since I left my 5-star review. We have two English Cream Golden Retrievers - Tera and Winston. Both are well-known at WAGD and both have completed their CGC and Novice Trick AKC awards. Winston is about to begin his CGC Advanced class and subsequently take the exam (he will pass because WAGD trainers are so helpful and tell you exactly what to work on).
I was diagnosed with Autism late in my 30s and had wanted to have a service dog. I got Winston and immediately knew he was up to the task. WAGD training has been instrumental in his journey to becoming a certified service animal who goes with me everywhere.
No matter what you have planned for your dog, no matter your level of experience with training animals, the staff here is world-class, and the folks in your classes are also so helpful and cheer you on. Don't send your dog to someone for two weeks and think they come back trained and obedient, that's not the way dogs work! Your dog wants you to lead them and want a relationship with you. Not some trainer for two weeks. To lead you need to learn how dogs think, and the manners classes will train your dog with the core basic commands and behaviors they will need in the world.
Huge thanks to the WAGD owner and the staff. I always recommend WAGD when Winston and I are out and about and they ask how he was trained so well. I tell them it's a LOT of work, but my dogs are worth it. (also shout out to Miss Stephanie - Winston loves you)

We love What a Great Dog! They have helped with training two of our dogs and we have taken many of the classes with many of the trainers. We have also had a trainer travel to our house to help with a specific issue. All have been amazing, never a bad experience!

A huge shoutout to @Martha, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. Her patience, positivity, and genuine love for the dogs truly made a difference. Nala adored her from day one, and it was clear that the feeling was mutual. I always felt like Nala was in the best hands, and I’m so grateful for everything Martha and the team have done for her.

This little girl just started Manners 1, obviously we need help, lol.
What A Great Dog is the best place to train your dogs. We have a German Shepherd that was trained here and he is an incredible boy. People ask us all of the time about his training.
