What A Great Dog!

Attended several puppy preschool classes and am attending the puppy manners class, its great. The classes are an hour long just about and they teach you a lot of stuff in that amount of time. For pups at least, there is no dog to dog interactions so if that's what you're looking for specifically this isn't the place. I've been to those kind of places and its a mixed bag. My dog was instantly swarmed and had a bad time so What a Great Dog's policy makes a lot of sense. I got recommend by my vet and I recommend this place to every puppy owner I met. They also have plenty of stuff for adult dogs too like agility training and sent stuff, I just don't have any personal experience with that.

I want to give trainer Dan a shout out. I've been looking into adopting a rescue dog with hopes to turn him/her into a therapy dog. I needed some guidance from someone experienced in working with therapy dogs. I reached out to 'What a Great Dog' in hopes to get a few suggestions on what to do & look for when meeting a potential pup at a shelter. Instead of a simple email, Dan gave me a call. He took time out of his schedule to talk with me through all the information I needed to feel good about about choosing a potential pup to train, but also be shared his experiences when he first started out and what to expect. This was incredibly helpful, as well as it speaks to the genuineness of the staff at 'What a Great Dog. They have heart and do care. I'm looking forward to beginning classes with them.
