We truly cannot recommend Kayla and Wheatland Dog Center enough. Before training, our dog Goose was constantly jumping on people, pulling on the leash on our walks, bolting out the front door, and had the kind of high-energy, destructive behaviors that made everyday dog-life stressful. After working with Kayla, Goose is a completely different dog. He’s gentle, walks beautifully on a leash by my side, is mindful of his surroundings, and listens so much better, all while still being the same goofy, sweet, happy boy we love. They didn’t change his personality; they gave him the structure and confidence he needed to thrive. What really sets Wheatland Dog Center apart is how genuinely they care. Goose gets excited when we pull onto their property, and that says everything. Knowing he’s happy to be there gives us so much peace of mind. Wheatland is now our go-to for boarding because we know Goose is loved, well cared for, and in the best hands. We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a genuine, caring, and structured place for our dog. Thank you, Kayla, for giving us a happier, more confident dog and making our lives so much easier. After adopting my sweet companion, I wanted her trained. Kayla was recommended. Her facility, Wheatland Dog Center, is professional, dog friendly, clean and the dogs there are calm and happy. My dog came home understanding the commands and happy to continue training with me. Kayla is extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions. We were desperate for options for our spicy bulldog, Abbie. Once a severely overweight sweet Potato our girl had become a spicy terror after losing weight (and us not being strict enough). Our wonderful vet suggested we give Kayla's board & train a try. Scary concept when you have never used one before. Kayla was AMAZING and made all our dreams come true! She worked with our girl and taught her so many things and gave us the tools to use to keep up the good behavior at home. Kayla gave us peace in our chaotic (and sometimes scary) home and for that, I would 100% recommend her all day to anyone needing her services!
