Whittier Dog Club - Training & Boarding

We have had such an incredible experience with Whittier Dog Club. Earl and Lulu have been going there for boarding, training, and daycare over the past few months, and I can genuinely say it has been a game changer for our household. First, the team simply gets dogs. They understand behavior, energy, boundaries, and how to reinforce good habits in a way that is structured but still full of heart. Every time Earl and Lulu come home, they are not just happy, they are noticeably better behaved. Listening skills? Improved. Manners? Stronger. Selective hearing? Dramatically reduced. It is like sending them to school and getting back little overachievers. And then there is the ball pit. If you ever want to see pure joy, just say “ball pit” in front of them. The excitement is immediate. They absolutely love it. They come home tired in the best possible way, which any dog parent knows is the equivalent of winning the lottery. What I appreciate most is the genuine care. This is not just a drop off and pick up operation. The staff is attentive, engaged, and clearly invested in each dog’s progress. It gives me real peace of mind knowing they are in experienced hands and being guided by people who truly understand what they are doing. We are so grateful for the positive impact Whittier Dog Club has had on Earl and Lulu. We will absolutely continue bringing them back. If you are looking for a team that combines professionalism, structure, and a whole lot of heart, this is the place. Our house is calmer, our dogs are happier, and yes, we are big fans.

We had such an incredible experience with Chris at Whittier Dog Club. We enrolled our dog, Harley-Quinn, in the 4 week board and train program, and the transformation has truly been remarkable. Before training, she struggled with nipping, leash pulling, confidence issues, trust concerns, and she wouldn’t even lay down in a stay. Being a rescue from the streets, she always seemed on edge and unsure of the world around her. From our very first consultation, Chris showed us he could confidently and calmly handle her. That alone gave us so much reassurance. Throughout the program, he consistently sent video updates so we could see her progress, which meant a lot to us. When it came time for our in-person training session, we were honestly blown away by the change in her behavior. We came to Whittier Dog Club after trying two other trainers with little to no results, so we were cautious but hopeful. Chris exceeded our expectations. Harley-Quinn is now so much more enjoyable to be around, more obedient, and most importantly, she seems more confident and at peace. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend Chris to anyone struggling with behavioral issues in their dog. The results speak for themselves.

The best experience I could have ever asked for! I got my puppy trained with Chris and Abby and it was worth every penny. We were referred by my aunts who swore Chris was the best of the best and I couldn’t agree more. I opted for the 4 week day training program and what a difference I have seen with my little one. She is confident and composed in settings and knows how to walk like a champ! I can’t thank Chris enough, I will definitely be returning for future training but if you are considering training your dog, I can’t recommend them enough! Also, it is so convenient they have an amazing groomer on site. I was able to coordinate training and grooming so she would get the best of both worlds and she always came out looking gorgeous!
