Whole Dog Institute is a local dog training business serving clients in the Durham-Chapel Hill-Hillsborough area. I have had wonderful experiences with Whole Dog Institute. The trainers that I’ve worked with in Relationship Building Fundamentals, Reactive Dog Obedience, and Agility Games have all been informative, positive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Tina and Liz were instructors for the relationship building/obedience group classes I have taken, and they both did an awesome job leading whole-class exercises while also walking around to provide individual feedback to each dog-human pair. I felt like my dog and I made tangible progress every week. We had fun and felt both safe and challenged during every class. WDI classes have strengthened my and my dog’s communication and improved our relationship/trust. Recommend 11/10!

The trainers are excellent. There are a variety of classes and class times. My puppies and I have enjoyed the classes and puppy socialization groups.

We have thoroughly benefitted from our 2 rounds of classes at WDI. We (my dog Wyatt and I) loved meeting and working with both instructors -- Tina and Irina were patient and knowledgeable -- they felt like friends by the end. Both went above and beyond, listening to our particular needs and providing pointers and suggestions both inside and outside of class. While the bulk of the training and reinforcement must happen at home/outside of class for all dogs, I believe classes are crucial, and I highly recommend WDI.

I've worked with the team here for both private and group dog trainings, prices are extremely reasonable and team is super knowledgeable and great to work. Fantastic experience, I recommend it to anyone looking for training help.
