Our class topics include thorough and varied socialization*, learning your rules, learning their place in the pack hierarchy of this new mixed species pack, successful housebreaking, learning bite inhibition and learning how to walk on a leash and go into a crate on command are the priority objectives. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Whole Dog University. Max was a 7 month, 70 pound, strong out of control animal. With Ruth’s knowledge and experience she helped transform Max in to an obedient family pet. She listened to our challenges and equipped us with the skills we needed to properly train Max. He is now “Max The Great Boy”!

I met a woman in a dog park this past week who was a bit lost on her 3 month old Puppy; I recommended the sooner the better to go to see Ruth at Whole Dog University; that the younger you and your animal companion get the trick of things... the better. Ruth is quite remarkable with her wide range of knowledge in all areas of dog behavior. I wish I had put our Puppy Meers in at 12 weeks but didn't realize I needed help till he was 14 weeks. Classes are fun! As Ruth says "You don't know what you don't know"!
Great trainer. Help us get our new puppy a solid base on training everything from commands to corrections.
Ruth is awesome. She really cares about the dogs she trains, and the instructions and solutions she provides are logical and effective. Go to Whole Dog when you need serious and trustworthy advice and training.
