Who’s A Good Boy

Our dog Bagel was a mess. A cute mess, but a mess non-the-less. We needed help. Neither my son nor my wife could walk Bagel without a tremendous amount of effort. Enter Nick and Who's a Good Boy dog training. With one loose-lease lesson and a little work on our own our beloved hound can now be comfortably walked by any member of the family. Nick is professional and skilled. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

After doing quite a bit of research on dog trainers, we landed on Who’s a Good Boy, and we couldn't have been happier with the choice! Nick is very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions that I had, before, during and and after the training. I have a 4 year old golden retriever with high energy. Before Who’s a Good Boy she pulled on the leash, jumped on everyone, would not listen to simple commands and would never come when called. Nick helped me learn what my dogs specific needs were and how to best advocate for her. Ever since the training my dog’s behavior has been a dream. When people come over to visit they always say, “wow your dog is so well behaved.” Nick is a lifesaver and I would highly recommend him to anyone with obedience issues!

There are a lot of dog trainers out there. My last dog went through 3 separate trainers trying to deal with his behaviors. The first trainer didn't listen to our needs and enrolled us in a puppy agility class when he couldn't even walk without fighting his leash. The second was 1-on-1 training who was able to get our dog on his best behavior while in training sessions but we couldn't figure out how to bring that obedience home from the training sessions with us and he still couldn't be around other dogs without getting into scuffles about toys or the water bowl at the park. The 3rd was a board-and-train environment where we asked for a primary focus on interacting with other dogs, and they worked with him solo the entire time and just told us "maybe it's best he not interact with other dogs for awhile," completely ignoring what we asked and paid for. Nick is different, and I think it's because he actually listens to his customers, and tailors his training of the dog to the needs of the owner. Where a lot of trainers can train a dog, a good trainer can train a person to understand, work, and learn with their dogs.
