Wiggle Butt Academy

We’re just getting started with Wiggle Butt Academy and already our experience is great. We are paired with trainer Mads, who is extremely knowledgeable and great with our Frenchies. In just the first orientation they recognized behaviors and got us started on managing environment, exercises, homework, new tools and also posted some very interesting educational material related to our behavior challenges. What we’ve learned is already paying off! Wiggle Butt has a multidimensional approach for training and a virtual classroom to communicate and document homework, educational resources, etc. I love this approach. All their trainers are highly credentialed. I’ll post an update as we get through training!

Jenny is amazing! Our dog’s leash behavior has improved tenfold thanks to her guidance. My wife and I unknowingly adopted a dog that is part blue heeler from DAS and he is (was) a PULLER! Before working with Jenny, walks were stressful for all parties. Finley was giving himself blisters/abrasions from trying to pull through his harness. We had tried two other trainers and about 10 different combinations of leashes/collars/harnesses to no avail. After working with Jenny and completing the training plan she put together, Finley has been blister-free and is enjoying his walks. One of our biggest problem areas was when we would pass three barking dogs on our walking route. Now, Finley calmly walks past them like a pro, which was unimaginable before. Jenny's recommendations and hands-on training helped Finley reassociate his trigger spots with treats and praise. He’s now much more focused on me than the other dogs. One of the biggest signs of progress is how gently he takes treats from my hand. He’s clearly less stressed and my finger tips are very grateful for this! I enjoyed working with Jenny and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog trainer!
