I called to inquire about training services since the website isn’t too clear on what you’ll be shelling out after evaluation. I called and was excited to speak directly to Nestor. When I asked what the general starting price points were after the evaluation for my 9 month old he seemed to get upset and said he can’t tell me anything until evaluation and check his website. Okay, understood. I politely explained it wasn’t too clear how large of an investment the next steps would be and I wanted to know a starting point so I could make an informed decision. He re-directed me to his website again although I had already mentioned I had been there twice. I explained I was just trying to get some info to pull the trigger on the proper training program. Wow, Nestor was quick to raise his voice to tell me he valued his time and was worth the money and that he wouldn’t be able to tell me anything until after an evaluation. I tried to explain I wasn’t sure if it was in the range of $1,000-$8,000, as there are many options on the website. He repeated that’s what’s the evaluation was for. “I don’t know what your dog needs! I don’t know if your dog gets along with dogs, people, crates, boarding, etc.!” The guy came off incredibly rude and pompous to a potential client asking basic questions. This review is long overdue. My dog looooves Wigglewag. We recently relocated to Oceanside but miss this daycare dearly. There is no place like it. Nestor and his staff are great with the dogs. They make sure their day is structured and that their social interactions are positive but with boundaries. Our puppy had already been through basic obedience training but needed something different to handle behavioral issues like barking, pulling on walks, ignoring commands, etc. We saw a huge change in him after only a couple of weeks, particularly in his social interactions with other dogs. We also did 2 private lessons. Nestor is an incredible trainer and even got my husband (who has no patience) to change his approach. They also do boarding and it was the only place where we felt comfortable leaving our dog. When I first spoke with Nestor he told me they were a non-traditional daycare. They were also a little more pricey than other daycares so I didn’t immediately request a consultation to enroll but so glad that we revisited the idea and saw for ourselves. Peace of mind is priceless and that’s we get every time we’ve dropped off our dog.

This gentlemen is clearly NOT A ANIMAL LOVER OR A TRAINER!!!! I had a incident with my dogs and I called him to see if he can do obidence training cuz my dogs are named "vicious" and he said he doesnt "touch" dogs like that and there is no helping them they deserve to die and all kind of other things. But it's ok. Cuz regardless what my dogs did do. It's not who they are. They are caring and sweet dogs. But I dont know what happened that day. And this guy trying to put me down and my dogs down! DO NOT GO TO HIM HE IS A JOKE!!!!
