Wild Acre Kennels

Wild Acre Kennels did an incredible job training my dog, Applejacks. He’s now so well-behaved that they even let him into the Hilton—and he’s TikTok famous too! The training here took him from being a great family dog to essentially working at the level of a service dog. As a dad with a daughter who has a disability, this level of training meant everything to us. The team at Wild Acres takes safety very seriously, which gave me so much peace of mind. They combine professional skill with a lot of care, and it really shows in the results. Applejacks listens, respects boundaries, and is truly a joy to be around. Now I have a new puppy, Tahiti, who’s still a bit of a rascal, but I already know she’ll be heading to Wild Acres for training too. I trust them completely. On top of all that, they also do excellent bird and gun dog training for hunting, which is a huge plus for those who want working dogs in the field. Highly recommend Wild Acre Kennels for anyone who wants the very best training for their dogs.

We had a wonderful experience! Andrew trained our first dog and we’re super excited to have him work with our new dogs. We have both a Rottweiler and a lab. The Rottweiler is the typical stubborn gal. We did the basic obedience with her, but she was still quite selective when listening to my wife or children. After training, my wife is easily able to command her and so are my older kids. Much improvement. And let me tell you; if Andrew can train my lab to be as excited about bird hunting as he came out, you definitely need to take your dogs there. 5 stars isn’t high enough. ⭐️ Thanks⭐️

We sent our Labordoodle, Penny, to work with Andrew for the 6 week obedience training and we could not be more happy with all aspects our experience! Right from the beginning they were responsive and made the entire process a breeze. It’s a big decision trusting someone with your dog and right from the beginning, we could tell that Andrew and RaeLynn were going to take amazing care of our Penny girl. It was even more evident when we came to pick up Penny to bring her home, the trust and attachment that Penny developed with Andrew! Before we brought her home Andrew went through all the commands that Penny learned over the 6 weeks there, he had both my husband and I go through each one with Penny to ensure we were confident in what we needed to do once we had her back home with us to continue her training. We would recommend Wild Acre’s to anyone who is looking at training options for their pup!

Our 8 month old Golden Retriever spent just over 2 months with Andrew at Wild Acre Kennels for intro to bird/gun and obedience training. Andrew’s work is exceptional. You certainly don’t have to look hard to recognize how deeply he cares about the dogs he trains. He is talented in his craft, professional, and approachable. Our dog struggled with parts of her training, but Andrew pivoted his approach to provide an individualized training plan that was best suited for her. He always saw the best in her, and for that, we are forever grateful. We received our dog back with a wagging tail, good manners, and a much more relaxed temperament. We are extremely impressed with the results and will not hesitate to send our dogs to him in the future. Thank you Andrew & RaeLynn for all your work with our girl Quinn!
