We recommend starting some sort of training as soon as your get your dog in order to promote good habits, a healthy relationship, and decrease likelihood of learning things we dont want! Puppies can start lessons as soon as 8 weeks old, and our Puppy board and train starts as young as 12 weeks! Older dog's benefit from training just as much! The oldest we have trained is 13 years old

Wild at heart was foundational for us in the beginning. We adopted Lady from the Lewisville shelter and we had a good idea about what dog we got, but weren’t sure. WAHC helped us focus our training and have goals to get to. Alana is the best and is Lady’s favorite person in the whole world. She makes it fun for the puppy while providing structure for growth. They also have a really great boarding program that helps us when we travel.
10/10 recommend WACH, you won’t regret the investment in your dog here!

Since adopting my dog Wiley, Hanna and Aubrie have helped with training, grooming, and even figuring out how to manage her allergies. They’re knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to share advice. If you want a place that will treat your dog like family, I highly recommend Wild At Heart Canine Academy.

Wild at Heart Canine Academy has saved our happy home! Our large puppies were taking over and unruly and now they are well behaved, trainable and we are all much, much happier! We can’t wait to continue with group activities at WAHCA.

We had great experiences with training two rescued dogs here. We have also used the boarding services and were very pleased. All the staff are so friendly and trainer Hanna really listened to what our needs and goals were with training and helped us achieve them. Our border collie mix was anxious and reactive and she is so much better now. Hanna helped me train Sadie, our other dog, to behave well in all public settings and focus and perform tasks to be able to assist me with some health issues I have. Sadie is a big help to me now.
