Wild Child Dog Training

Prior to board and training for 6 weeks, I couldn’t take Scout anywhere. He couldn’t sit still, he pulled on the leash terrible, and he was annoying to others around him, including other dogs. After 3 weeks of training, I could walk him without him pulling on the leash. By the end of the 6 weeks, I can take him places and be relaxed. He can do what I ask him to do now. Highly recommend Wild Child. These trainers are excellent. I never felt bad about leaving him with them after a weekend of being home. He always looked like he was having fun on the videos they posted. I pretty sure he loved being there.

Otis had a great time making new friends and strengthening his obedience. This experience has helped me feel more in tune with him than I did before. I feel so much more confident about taking him to new places and exploring together. The crew at Wild Child deserves every single one of the five star reviews they have received. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for myself and Odie. I look forward to boarding him in the future so he can continue learning and growing!

I could tell you how the compliments from neighbors have changed from “we’ll just walk around…” to “she’s doing so much better” or I could talk about how my million-mile-a-minute cattle dog has learned to chill out and lay down when requested and relax. I could even talk about how the follow up and follow through from Lindsey and the rest of the crew at WCD has been always been great at making sure my dog is adjusting and keeping us informed throughout the process. There’s a lot of amazing things I could say about the training program itself and the changes in my dog and myself and my family, our confidence and communication with each other… but as a person that sees my dog not as a pet or a tool or an add-on in my life but as a cherished, beating heart member of my family, the best thing I could say about WCD is that my dog absolutely loves her handler Lindsey and the rest of the crew. She loves being at the training facility and you can see in how she reacts to the trainers that she was well treated and taken care of. Not only did she grow and learn so much, not only did we as her at-home people learn better ways of living with her, but having the faith and confidence that she was happy, challenged and thriving when in their care means the world to us. Thank you WCD for a giving us all that you have.

My husband and I were having some issues with our two pups and when looking for a trainer I was able to get in contact with this group here. They gave us an evaluation and let us know what our options were with them. Having two females is a lot of work and they were fighting. Through the training we started to recieve they worked with our dogs and us. I never noticed how we act or our "vibes" would effect our dogs. Just with basic tools we have seen changes in our dogs and in us as owners.We started off with a few sessions with them, but once our pups had a bad fight and we talked over with them after sending in some videos of their interactions we had to make the decision to send our dog Veda, the black and white dog, off to get trained. With our dog Veda having gone through three homes, ours being the third, she has some issues she needs worked with especially confidence. I do not think I could have found a better group of people to send her too because they have helped us so much with just a few sessions, accountability as owners and helping us work through it. Though it is expensive, they were more reasonable than some places around here. If youre looking for people are going to help you BUILD relationship with your dog and help give you more confidence as a owner, I highly recommend them. All the fear she had was gone and she is so brave. Seeing our shy puppy come to life with foundation she has now has been emotional. The time they took with her to help her getting better, learning how to deal with new experiences and as well as navigate those experiences whether scary or new, is amazing. They have helped my husband and I build a better relationship with by knowing what she needs to be the best dog she can. Veda is more open to seeing familiar faces in our family without barking but using her nose first lol I will continue to advocate for proper dog training always with them in mind. Looking forward to sending our other dog Luna next year to help her build her foundation and working with them to build a better relationship with her as well.
