Wild Paws Training

My dogs have thrived from Wild Paws. Shannon is not a one trick pony kind of trainer, she learns from your animal and then they learn from her. I suggest the drop off training, it has worked wonders for my two very different pooches. Shannon has also helped me with the appropriate times to be tough and when to be like me 'a pushover'. She has also helped us many times off the clock with questions regarding kennels and other type situations that helped out tremendously.

Our 7 month old deaf English Settter has just returned from a two week board and train with Wild Paws. My husband has had dogs his entire life, I have not. He was reluctant to spend this kind of money on training, I was ready to find this high energy dog a new home. We knew this puppy was intelligent and driven with a strong desire to work, and could not give up on her. Again, our puppy is deaf, which posed issues we were not prepared to deal with. We did research, we watched the deaf dog training videos on YOUTUBE, we read the book. Our efforts, and experience with dogs clearly were not enough. Sadly we were beginning to understand why many breeders are euthanizing deaf puppies.After getting recommendations from family and friends, we decided to give Wild paws a try. What Wild Paws accomplished in two short weeks is beyond our expectations and beliefs. This puppy is very tuned in to her other senses, and Shannon understood that in a way we did not. They have set a foundation that both our puppy,and us understand, and can work with. There is not only hope, but we have confidence that this puppy will be the best pet we have ever had. Yes, she is still very much a puppy, she is still extremely energetic(as the breed should be), and there is still much work to do, and we are more in love with this dog ever. These gals are very reliable and timely and their love for the dogs they train and work with shows. I have had them them help with my four dogs in the past and recently had them dog-sit a couple of them for me. They did an amazing job. They even handled an unexpected vet visit (a cyst popped on my pups neck) with ease. My dogs now basically think I am a bore and they are super fun, so that's a win in my books. Highly recommend them to help with your furry friend!
