Kiira and Chris are the absolute best! They really understand dogs and know how to train and care for them. They treat the dogs they care for as members of their family. In just two days, I can see such positive growth in my puppy—it’s amazing. I trust them wholeheartedly and am excited to continue to watch my pup develop through their loving care. I will be forever grateful (and so will my dog) that I found them. They are gold ❤️

Chris and Kiira are amazing! I met with them to work on a few issues I was having with my 5yr old Spinone. After an initial consultation with both of them and then a private lesson with Kiira at my farm, I had all the tools necessary to keep working with my dog and to help her succeed. They are both patient and calm and dogs respond so well to their energy. They were also willing to work with me in different situations to really get to the bottom of my dog’s issues, which is rare. I highly recommend Wild River Kennels for any dog training needs- obedience, reactivity, tune ups…they’re the best!

We had enrolled our golden retriever in Wild River's Basic Gundog Course late in the summer with the hopes of getting him back just before pheasant season this fall. Fast forward by two months and Chris returned an incredibly well mannered and versatile bird dog that has clearly matured during his training. Goose is fantastic in the field, responding nicely to both verbal and e-collar commands, and was successful on his first opening day. At home, he's been a loving companion with excellent manners. While we always thought the dog had great potential, Chris was able to bring that out and kept his spirit intact. Chris has been a tremendous resource and continues to field our questions without hesitation. It truly feels like a relationship that extends beyond just the training program. We wouldn't hesitate to send our dog back for a tune up and will absolutely have our next puppy at Wild River as soon as possible.

I left my two Brittany Spaniels with Chris and Kiira for a week. Wild River Kennels was referred to me by a friend who owns a Brittany also from Birch Hill breeder. My 2 year old and 6 year old came back healthy and happy after all the canine interaction, and most importantly, Kiira worked with them on leash training. She fit them with the right collar and broke the habit of pulling, they have been perfect gentlemen since our return home. I plan to leave my boys often at Wild River Kennels and have Kiira give them refresher training sessions. My friend uses Chris for hunting and is also very happy with the results. This family truly loves these dogs. I highly recommend Wild River Kennels!
