Wilde Acres

Desperately needed help with my pitbull Zeus. 60lbs of muscle that I needed help with walking. My son is the usual walker, but his new job had me needing to step up. I refused to be turned into a meme with Zeus dragging me around. After having an initial training session to see how things would be, I quickly purchased the 5 pack training sessions. Molly was our trainer and she was an absolute joy. She was very knowledgeable and relatable. I never felt dumb asking questions and she kept making sure I was understanding the process. I liked how she presented me with options on how the training would go instead of dictating things. My son and I learned a lot of ways to keep our dogs safe and well mannered while out in public. Zeus was an awesome student. Would definitely recommend. Is it cheap? No, but it was worth every penny. All of the employees I met were nice. Don't spend time in the office--I spent too much money on accessories there. LoL. The hoodie I bought is really nice, perfect for really cold days. Lastly, the effort you put in is what determines how well things work. Its an everyday practice, reinforcing what we've learned. Zeus has his good and not so good days. But the difference is my confidence in handling the situations. Thanks Molly!

Our 1-year-old Brittany, Puck, came home rock-solid on two primary training objectives--heel and come when called. That not only makes our job easier, it means she is now experiencing the joy of running freely around our property. We are extremely pleased. Lead trainer Cam Bell and his Wild Acres colleagues also started Puck on formal bird dog lessons, and while there's more to do, we're on the right track. The design and cleanliness of WA kennel is first-rate, but most important is that the folks working there are consummate pros. They clearly love dogs and know how to communicate with them--with the owners too! We look forward to more WA visits and training in the future.

We sent our 7 month old puppy Dak to Wilde Acres for the new 2 week split training program and it was the best decision we made. We did not want to be away from Dak for consecutive weeks so the split program aloud a break in between for us to bring him home and practice all he learned in his everyday environment as well. I can not say enough about his trainer Molly - she was amazing with Dak (and us). She really cares so much and it shows!!! Our boy went to Wilde acres a good pup and after his 2 weeks he is an outstanding pup!!!

We took our Giant Schnauzer to Wilde Acres for puppy classes then found so much value there that we decided to book him for a four week ground up training (2 weeks @ 4 months and 2 more weeks after 6 months). These guys taught us so much in the puppy classes by getting us started with using markers. Then we learned so much more in the 2 two week board and training. After each two week session we spent an hour with the trainer who helped us get up to speed with our GS. Everyone is sooo nice and helpful at Wilde Acres they make us feel comfortable with asking questions and learning how we can create an extraordinary life for our GS. At eight months old now, his behavior, obedience and confidence is fantastic whether on walks, lounging around the house, playing with us and other dogs as well as when he is presented with new intriguing situations. We highly recommend Wilde Acres for you (the handler) and your dog.
