Will-Do Kennels

I called Mr. Ralph on a very short notice as my dog was soon to turn 1 year old. He told me he could take her the very next day. I took my Boykin to Will Do Kennel for a 6 week obedience school. Ralph called me at 4 weeks to come visit my girl. He very professionally explained to me how my Boykin is not learning as quickly as he would like, so he asked if he could keep her another couple weeks to get her where he believed he thought was good. I came back a few weeks later and was blown away by her progression from being a rowdy and rambunctious puppy to being a well behaved dog that obeys commands. The training was exactly what I needed but certainly not what I expected. It was more than I expected because she came out in the end with a new mind set between right and wrong and behaving when told to do so. Very satisfied with Ralph’s demeanor and professional atmosphere that he provides. 10 out of 10

As first time dog owners, my husband and I were getting frustrated with not being able to walk our black lab. He would pull and pull and make it unbearable. I contacted Ralph over Facebook looking for information for his obedience training. He responded right away and answered all of our questions. We ended up sending our dog and now he is an angel to walk on a leash. It definitely grew us and our dog, he came back more disciplined. Additionally, we learned how to properly train our dog to keep him sharp with his new skills. Since training, Ralph is now our go-to for boarding. Definitely recommend!

We took our 1 1/2 year old male golden retriever to Will Do Kennels for obedience training. He was there for 6 weeks and came back a brand new dog. It's been over a month since he's been back home and he's still doing great. My husband and I are able to take him walking on our street off leash, which blows my mind. He's much more disciplined and listens to our commands right away. It's so nice to have a dog that listens instantly, is disciplined, can walk on the leash, and be around others without acting crazy. Highly recommend! We will also be taking our 4 month old puppy to Ralph when she's of age.

I took my dog to Ralph (bought her from him also) to be trained. My intentions were to move from obedience to hunt test/retriever, but after 3 months of being there and a short visit it was obvious I needed to bring my dog home. She demonstrated sit/stay and walking on a lead (only if shocked or snatched) and was clearly scared to death. When I made the decision a few days later to go pick her up, Ralph was extremely nasty and rude. He spoke to me like a piece of trash and told me I had nothing more than a “glorified pet”. Now at home, my dog has shown not one ounce of an obedience skill. Complete waste of time and MONEY. I reached out to Ralph about my concerns and got nowhere. My “views” on training are that I pay for a service and I should get just that-I’m not paying for my dog to only perform for the “trainer” and why would I choose to work with someone that spoke so rudely to me and has YET to acknowledge it or apologize. Complete trash in my “view”. BEWARE-I wouldn’t recommend this kennel for training to anyone.
