Willis Wolfpack Dog Training

There are really no words to express how good these folks are! They have been game changers for our 2 dogs! We can now walk them on a leash with ZERO pulling and no harness! They provided us so much information on how dogs interact in a pack environment and the importance of establishing that with them here in our home. Honestly I could not recommend them enough! We will continue our training with them for sure!

Earlier this year, a former coworker (thanks Bo!) made a post about his dog and how his training was going. He had his dog at a brewery. That's what Shane and I long for! We want to take Bristol to breweries, and out to brunches. And on hikes. And to fests and other events. She's family and we want her to get out with us and experience all this life has to offer. We had her in training last summer, but there were communication issues. The facility didn't understand what we wanted, or maybe they did, and were just after more money. I reached out to Willis Wolfpack Dog Training since Bo tagged them in his post. They let me know how the training worked, and if I wanted to sign up, just be mindful that they're 6 months out. Yikes! But that's awesome for them. That means they're booking clients and must be really good at what they do. I signed her up and patiently waited until September. When Bristol was only on her 2nd week of training, it was night and day from her last educational experience. Joe and Meg work more with the psychology and behavioral patterns of dogs. They make training make sense. Crazy fact but dogs can't speak. I know. I know. Joe and Meg work more from the body language and eye contact of a dog. The most important thing in a relationship is communication. Think about it? Your personal relationship will fail if communication is non-existent. Your professional relationships won't go well if communication doesn't exist. Why would we expect a relationship with our dogs to be any different? We have to learn how to communicate at their level. It's not just about throwing commands at them. It's about understanding what works for them, what makes them comfortable and secure, and most importantly what makes them feel like they have a purpose. Bristol loved her training. And she's doing so well with what she learned. We can't wait to see what's next because we've already got her signed up for the next level of training!
