Wolf Moon Dogs

Did a Board and Train for our Golden Retriever, Jax, about 6 months ago. The training completely transformed our relationship with him! He went on his own for a couple of weeks with Alana. When the training was over for him, Alana met my husband and I for several hours to review everything she had worked on with Jax, and how to implement it in our home. She gently recommended a kennel, as she said it would help with his anxiety. I was VERY hesitant about it, but we gave it a try, and even now, he will go to the kennel on his own! He is calm and relaxed when I get home, and stays quiet until I let him out. We have been able to enjoy walks together, as he is no longer dragging me along. I cannot say enough nice things about Alana, and the program she has developed!

This training has shifted our lives and household completely! My partner and I recently moved in together with her two cats and my two dogs in tow. I knew I needed to do something to get my younger, happy-go-lucky and very rambunctious pup, Bear, under control to make the transition for all of us as smooth as possible. She is extremely personable and really takes the time to get to know you and your dog. I had complete peace of mind while Bear was there because your dog trains, stays and plays in her home along with her husband and their sweet doggy crew so I had no doubts that my boy would be loved and well taken care of. She also made sure to post videos on her social media so I could follow along with his progress. Alana really sets you and your dog up for success so when it’s time for you to bring your four-legged family member back home the transition is seamless. Once training is complete she is always available and willing to answer any questions that you have! We are so excited to be able to actually go places with him now because he is so well behaved! No more leash pulling, chasing birdies and squirrels, zoomies in the house and bad car rides. We can’t wait to send our other dog soon to brush up on commands, learn some new ones and work on his separation anxiety!

Where do I even start with how amazing our experience was with Alana at Wolf Moon Dogs! Our two hounds have been making our life stressful for the last 4 years. Especially when it comes to company, doors, other dogs etc. Ruby has wayyyyy to much energy and no boundaries with other dogs and people and Stanley is very nervous and matches Ruby’s energy with nervous energy. Having people over was miserable and having service workers in our home was stress inducing. The final straw was our 4 year old started asking to have friends over which would have been impossible with them in the past. Alana was sooo knowledgeable and her communication with us was unmatched. She posted daily videos of our dogs while they were with her so we could keep up with their progress, and we spent 4+ hours with her on pickup day so she could do hands on training with us for every situation that could arise. Our dogs are completely transformed into calm happy animals that we actually love to be around. We hike with them, enjoy walking them (in a heel!!!) and feel like we have some control back in our household. Thanks Alana!

I would highly recommend Alana to anyone seeking training for their dog. She's extremely knowledgeable and it's clear that she has a genuine love for dogs. She worked with our dog Bodhi a couple years ago and when we were looking for someone again, we were very excited to see that she had started her own business. She was able to give so much useful information in making our lives with Bodhi easier and we have seen great changes in him from the 2 weeks he spent with Alana.
