Wolf Moon Dogs

I met Alana when I was looking into doing more training with my German Shepherd Daisy. She was very fearful of humans and I was feeling stuck with how to help her. We did one on one sessions and Alana helped teach me how to work on building Daisys confidence and how to support her and make her feel safe. She also e-collar trained us both! All these things have led to me having a far more stable dog who exhibits far less fear than I ever thought possible. When I look back at how she was when we first met Alana to now it’s a HUGE world of difference. I don’t know what we would’ve done without the guidance that we received through Alana. She gave us the tools to grow and it opened up a whole new and better world for me and Daisy. Highly recommend Alana if you need training!

My husband and I were gifted with Morty, our sweet little Pomeranian pup, seven years ago. We adopted him from a shelter and were told he would never be good on a leash and was terrified of men and children. We didn’t care! We knew he was meant for us and us for him! With a little time and a lot of love he warmed up to people and learned to walk on a leash. He is the sweetest dog and brings us so much joy and we cannot imagine our lives with out him. However he continued struggle with anxiety on his walks and in our home, especially when we left the house, and frequently had accidents when we were out. And then came Alana!! First of all, she is an amazing human being with the most beautiful soul! Secondly, as a trainer, she is too notch. She suggested we start small and change Morty’s leash and start using a crate. Just those two fixes were life changing. Morty stopped having accidents in the house and was more calm and focused on his walks. We then scheduled a board and train with Alana where she took Morty in for just over a week. She did some training with us first (we really needed it!!) to start to teach Morty some commands and to correct some of the behaviors we were encouraging unknowingly. During the board and train Morty learned to heal and place. He became more confident walking on his own and with other dogs. He learned to stay and to break. Learning these commands has totally changed Morty’s behavior. He is more confident, less anxious, less stressed and we think he is an overall happier pup!! It has also changed our lives. We no longer come home to accidents and enjoy our time walking with him so much more. Alana has a true gift and is so passionate about what she does. She loves and respects dogs and is committed to their training and wellbeing. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend her! So does Morty!

My training journey started all because I wanted my pup, Velma, to be a part of our wedding. I cannot express enough about how much more this journey has become. I will forever rave to everyone that I know about Alana and the all around wonderful human being that she is. She understands that a lot of this is going to be new territory for people and that each owner/dog's journey is going to be different. She respected my feelings, and made me feel so safe and comfortable during each and every session we had together. She not only helped Velma gain some much needed confidence — she helped me gain the confidence I needed in myself as well. I always had complete trust in Alana — and she showed so much trust in me as well. Alana will now always be one of the few people that I will trust to look after Velma and care for her while I'm away. I tell people — if you want to have a happy dog, go get a professional dog trainer in your life. One of the best decisions I ever made! I’m so grateful for everything this journey has brought us, especially Alana!
