I've had Fritz, who is a rescue from Puerto Rico, since he was about 5 months old (he is 4 years old now). Fritz needs a pack leader and as my first dog, I didn't know how to lead him successfully. I went to other trainers and he was good for a bit, but then Fritz started getting aggressive towards me and my partner. He would growl and become territorial making us feel anxious and uneasy. We turned to the vet and they said if we had children in the home, they'd suggest we PUT FRITZ DOWN. I couldn't fathom the idea of putting my 3.5 year old dog down. I was at a loss. One day, Fritz cornered my partner and started gritting his teeth at her ready to lunge. I intercepted and we felt in that moment we had to get him out of the house; no rescue would take him as he showed aggression towards humans. We were referred to Wolfhaus who trained our friend's Malinois. I called Courtney and he swooped in like an angel and trained Fritz for 6 weeks starting that night. Courtney was understanding of our trepidation in returning to Fritz after the training was completed. He worked with us in an intensive 2 day class to learn and feel confident in reuniting our little family. We use his commands every day, continue to crate train Fritz and have a peaceful home again. We don't fear our dog anymore as we feel confident in knowing the dog's boundaries and setting him up for success. We just went on a road trip to North Carolina and Fritz ran on the farm all day long. We know that ride and trip would not have happened without Courtney's guidance and brilliance. Upon contacting the owner to inquire about training for my 3-year-old miniature Yorkie, who exhibited minor behavior issues, I had high hopes for significant improvements after conversing with him multiple times and conducting some research. However, my optimism was quickly shattered. To sum it up succinctly, I paid a substantial $1300 for my dog's enrollment in what we thought was a training establishment but ended up appearing to be a doggy day care. To my dismay, what I observed on the owner's social media accounts were videos of my dog merely lounging on a bed alongside other dogs throughout the day. This portrayal fell far short of what I expected from a dog trainer. As I realized that my dog was not receiving the anticipated training, and with the added complication of a pending move, I requested a refund after just one day of this questionable "training." To my astonishment, the owner responded with indignation, using phrases like, "I did you guys a favor..." This left me wondering, in what way had he done us a favor? This owner displayed a complete lack of empathy and appeared solely motivated by financial gain. Despite our dog's two-week program, during which she spent entire days at the facility, her progress was negligible. To provide context, we had previously enrolled her in PetSmart Training sessions, which lasted only an hour once a week for a few weeks, and yet we witnessed greater improvement there. It is my strong recommendation that you consider PetSmart's basic training program, which costs only $130, as a far more worthwhile investment. Our beloved pet participated in both programs and exhibited significantly more progress at PetSmart than at this establishment.

I cannot say enough about Courtney and his training of my sweet, but stubborn, Brody! My 4.5 year old, 65lb Golden Doodle was not adjusting to Florida condo life moving from a huge backyard in Kentucky. I found Wolfhaus K9 in a true state of panic. I was terrified I would not be able to keep Brody any longer. He was truly unwalkable on a leash. I was being pulled down stairs and hurt pretty badly more than once. He had crate anxiety. Breaking through several and hurting himself. Nonstop destruction and barking had started. I was at a complete loss. And tensions were getting higher. Enter Courtney, who took Brody and turned him into the dog I knew he could be! It's me, I was the problem lol Even more appreciated, he has continued my training and helped me find ways that work for us.He has gone above and beyond when I was struggling to get the training down and had no end of patience. Brody is still a big strong goofy dog, but now he listens to his mom-as long as she is clear in expectation and consistent.
