Wonder Dog Training & Games

I highly recommend Wonder Dog training and games. It has been the key to training our two dogs, Sasha and Zoey. Sasha was trained In Home by Corey several years ago and he gave us the tools we needed to work with her. Example; from pulling on her leash to going off leash! He was always available to answer any questions along the way too. Sadly, Sasha passed away in October but we knew that when the time came to adopt another rescue dog, we would come back to Wonder Dog training and games. That time came when Zoey came into our lives! Her needs were different; she was shy, protective, and an excessive barker. We knew that the drop off option was perfect to let her shine. And Zoey did! She would get so excited when we arrived at school! KaLisa, frequently assisted us at drop off and her kindness and being so welcoming was much appreciated. Jesse was Zoey’s trainer and she was a perfect match for her! Jesse was knowledgeable and so approachable. She was so kind , and it was noticeable how much she loves her job! Zoey has come a long way and we are thankful for Jesse. After each weekly session at pick up time, Jesse would review what skills she had worked on with Zoey and we were able to practice that too. She would also text a recap of the skills learned so we had that to review which was very helpful. Gordon made an in home visit once and helped me with easy way to work on a question we had. It is so convenient to have access to the different videos that Corey had made showing step by step all the skills if needed. Corey and Sally, have a very informative Podcast answering pertinent dog training questions. It always helpful and fun too! Wonder Dog Training was a great experience for us and our sweet girls. The minute you walk through the door, you feel part of the family!!

Luna is my very sweet foster dog. She is sweet and loves people but not other dogs, she is large and she liked to have her way. I knew something had to be done or Luna would not be able to stay in my care. Since training with Jesse A. and KaLisa C. Luna has become A LOT better behaved!!! She walks on her leash without pulling me down the street, she is calmer and responds to commands, and she has become a lot better around other dogs. I am always able to get in touch with Jesse for questions when I am training her at home. When I would get frustrated or things got tough with Luna’s training, she would help to reassure and encourage me. I was able to move forward after this. I love the fact that Wonder Dog offers Saturday outings and games. Gordon is the trainer over the games and he has offered a lot of helpful information as well. I also like that the dog goes through training but you are taught how to train them. This helps you grow closer to your doggie friend. I was always afraid to take Luna out anywhere because of the way she would act, but taking her to Wonder Dog I felt like Luna was in a safe place and not judged. Everyone here is so good with Luna and was able to offer good advice and positive feedback. This training is way worth it and a great investment for your dog and makes them more lovable and enjoyable.

Can’t recommend Wonder Dog enough. I found my pup, Cleo, on the side of the road a few months ago. She became very comfortable with me rather quickly, but I struggled with getting her to do much outside of her comfort zone. Corey, Jesse, KaLise, and the rest of the wonderful staff at Wonder Dog not only trained her in an impactful way as a dog, but they did so in a meaningful way for her and I to enjoy going outside of her comfort zone. They gave her a second comfort place to show her it wasn’t just around me that she needed to enjoy her time. Not only can I tell Cleo feels more comfortable outside and around others, but I feel more comfortable knowing she and I have been giving the right tools and pathway to continue making her an outgoing dog and spreading her joy to others.
