Our policies are clearly stated on our web site and we are more than happy to explain them to potential students and to allow them to observe any of our classes to make sure our training is a good match for their needs. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis signed one dog up for class, came to the orientation, heard our philosophy and training techniques and then went home and called back to register their second dog. We discounted that second registration as a courtesy to them. Just before the second class, the Lewises called to say they wanted to "go in a different direction" and then claimed that they never attended the first class because it was only an orientation although they were clearly told that orientation IS the first class. Five months later, they tried to get a refund and refused to accept credit for any other class on our schedule despite the fact that they had signed a legal agreement indicating that we don't give refunds - and are not obligated to offer credit - after the class has begun . . . at orientation. You be the judge! Just for the record, both the Better Business Bureau and the Lewises credit card company denied their claim of unfair treatment.
