Woodside K9

We are so thankful for Marty and Woodside K9. What an enlightening experience for us all! We got a puppy who was having some issues with confidence and fearful about new people and situations! We were afraid to expose her to too much or to anything too quickly and make things worse so we decided to leave it to a professional! We went into our initial meeting with Marty planning only to do a couple puppy lessons in our home. We couldn’t imagine trusting her with someone other than us for an extended stay but from our first meeting with Marty, we knew he was a match for us and for our pup. Luna ended up doing a board and train and spent two weeks with Marty and she came home a better, more confident version of herself. She transformed from a dog who was afraid of her own shadow or of a bird flying by her, to a dog who can walk down a busy street, hear cars honking their horns and speeding by her, walk through groups of people, see other animals without distraction, or walk through malls and busy places without hesitation! She has found her confidence and is happier because of it! He sent us daily updates with photos and videos of their adventures and explained what they worked on each day. We looked so forward to our daily “Luna pupdates” which helped pass the time for us! She has come so far but we know the work never ends. We are so comforted knowing Marty is there to support us in our journey with her and help out any time we have a question or a concern. We can’t say enough good things about Marty and Woodside K9. 10/10 would recommend over and over!!

Before Marty’s two-week board and train, my St. Bernard was very leash reactive and nearly impossible to walk. Marty completely solved all of the issues I was having. To this day my dog is still extremely well-trained, obedient, and does extremely well on walks. I never thought this would be possible. Marty is professional, patient, and super compassionate with dogs. He tailors his training to the unique needs of each dog. Because of Marty, my dog has much more freedom, and I have so much confidence in my dog. I couldn't have had a better experience! My dog absolutely loves Marty!
