WOOFS! Dog Training Center

We had a in-home training session with Woofs, but unfortunately, it was a complete waste of time and awful experience for our French Bulldogs. The training was not particularly helpful, especially for our needs. It may be more suitable for young puppies or very basic commands like sit and stay, but for more serious or structured training, I would not recommend it. We did not feel we gained any value from the session. During the training, the trainer relied heavily on treats, so much so that I had to step in and ask them to stop, as it didn’t seem purposeful or effective. That same night, one of our dogs became sick, which we believe was due to being overfed treats during the session. Also, the fact that the trainer even one option was "rehoming" our dog, which was a huge red flag. Overall, the experience resulted in a loss of time, money, a sick dog, and a carpet cleaning expense. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Woofs.

We booked a private, at home 'new puppy' session with Laura and I left those 90 minutes feeling more confident, excited, and at peace with our puppy. Laura's kindness was deeply meaningful as I had a few rough back-to-back days with our pup. My parents called later on the day to ask how our pup did in the session and I kind of laughed letting them know that I was the one who learned more-so!! Laura helped me have a better understanding on crate training, how to best play with the pup to tire him out, how to be better at setting the pup up for success while potty-training and how to deal with the land-shark stage. Would highly recommend Woof's private training. Thank you, Laura!!!
