I highly recommend Word of Mouth Dog Training. I have been so impressed by the quick progress made by my fur babies in such a short amount of time. I will admit I was a bit apprehensive about trusting ANYONE with boarding my pups, but Jose made me feel very comfortable and when I saw my pup at class 3 days later he showed me just how happy he was to be there and to be learning. As a long time dog owner I have tried other training programs but never have seen results so quickly. Not only has Jose made my dogs better, he has also made me a better dog parent and that is absolutely priceless. Jose and his team are the best! My dog Finn was a wild boy (10 months).. counter surfing for food, jumping on everyone, and trying to escape anytime I opened the door. Now Finn is the best boy ever! He is so much calmer and more respectful with others. He responds to all his commands instantly and Jose even helped me with his ecollar training so I can have control over him anywhere off leash. We went to a lot of group classes to make sure I was equipped to handle him no matter what. Finn loves coming back for boarding and hanging with Greta! I am forever thankful for the WOM Dog family for changing my life and Finn’s forever 💚

I met with 2 other (both highly recommended trainers) before I did my private session with Jose. I got more out of that one hour with Jose than I did with my package of 3 sessions with my other trainer. I’m very action oriented, show me, watch me do it, give me feedback. Jose did exactly that. And although it might seem strict, training that is not treat motivated, but instead praise motivated resonates way more with me. Walking away from my session I knew exactly what to practice with my dog during training, and what to change at home to improve my relationship with my pup (hello boundaries!). I’m excited to see further improvement once I am able to do group classes! If you want reasonably priced, no BS training, Jose is your guy. I also met his wife and daughter; the whole family made me feel so welcome and cared for. I’m now really confident that my pup and I have such an awesome future ahead of us built on trust and not on treats (lol).

Husband and I entered both of our male corgis to the program and are so happy with the results. Before we were scared and anxious of taking them anywhere in fear that they would react to seeing another dog. Now we have taken them to dog parks, restaurants , malls, and anywhere else they can go and they are cool as cucumbers. So happy that we now get to spend more time outside as a family and enjoy being outside without fear.
