FirstBarkValentina is an absolutely incredible trainer. She gives dogs a chance when nearly no one else will and she gives them a new chance at life. Her knowledge of dogs is unmatched. Val has been great with teaching my dog Joker how to behave with good manners and listen to his basic commands. I met her at the Shelter when I went to visit Joker and she showed me that he actually is a really good dog and just needed the right training. She has been helpful with kennel training for him as well. Highly recommend!
Taking a second scent work class from Valentina with my corgi. Lesson puzzles are presented to the dog so that each one builds on previous successes, and positive reinforcement is always used. We are having fun and I would recommend it

I have trained dogs in obedience and agility for over 40 years and wanted to try nosework, a popular and new sport to me. I know a good instructor when I find her. Valentina knows her stuff! Times rewards perfectly, knows how to read dogs, realizes every dog is different and adapts methods. My dogs love the work and her and come home tired and happy. Great training facility too with the right equipment for every level of nosework. We have only had two lessons but the dogs and I are hooked!

Valentina is amazing with dogs. I have a dog that is shy in public and she has been so kind and patient with her. Our nosework class has all kinds of dogs, from wild and high drive, to soft and shy. Valentina changes her approach with each dog to get the best from all of them. A lot of trainers are good with one type of dog (for example protection dogs) but good trainers are able to give each dog what they need. I'm pretty picky with who I will let touch my competition dogs and have no hesitation with having Valentina start my dog's training correctly.
