Thank you so much Stewart! I got really lucky finding Stewart on my first google search for dog trainers, I thought I would have to try several people before finding the right match, but he is the best! I have an 11 year old stubborn pomeranian, I’m the one who needed all the training, and Stewart was very kind, and taught me exactly what I needed to do without ever making me feel bad about the things I was doing wrong. I will100% confidently recommend Stewart to anybody who needs a trainer or dog sitter.

I cannot speak highly enough of Stewart. Almost immediately my dog Ellie began responding to commands using his methods. Ellie was a horrible puller whenever something peaked her interest. At 65lbs that meant she was dragging me with her. Ellie would not come when called, even for treats. It was becoming a big safety issue to her and me. I was one of those people who would not even consider using a prong or e-collar. However, after trying multiple different types of training with no real results (and I worked diligently with her) I felt it was my only option left. I was desperate. Stewart was so calm and relaxed and was able to relay that to Ellie and me. He showed me that his methods are effective and humane and easily transition to training at home. Within a few lessons it was like I had a different dog that seems happy to comply. We are using the collars less and less. I’m now able to take her on a hike and she stays a very reasonable distance from me. She also comes when I call her and follows many other basic commands. Without her running after every other animal in sight, I feel much more relaxed and she is much safer. My goal over the next few months is to be able to move completely away from the collars. She’s not perfect yet, but she’s well on her way thanks to Stewart. His prices are very reasonable and he also provides daycare and boarding. It’s the perfect combination.
