Obviously dogs can’t verbalize their emotions, but the full body wiggles and excitement squeals my dog gets when we are driving to and pulling in for play school each week, lets me know she loves her time there. All of the staff know her by name and know all her quirks, which shows me they put a lot of time into every dog. The trainers must also spend a lot of time on the “school” part of play school, because my dog knows immediately what she needs to do when we walk in the door. I have a peace of mind when traveling knowing my dog is somewhere she enjoys to be with people that enjoy her.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Your Dogs Guru. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this is a place that truly cares about dogs and the people who love them. Michael works what I can only describe as real miracles with dogs. We brought in our rescued lab, Tank, who needed a lot of help (we believe he was not treated well before we got him), and the transformation we observed was incredible. But what really sets Michael and the staff apart is that he and his staff didn’t just work with Tank, he worked with us too. He took the time to help us understand how to continue reinforcing good behavior at home, which made all the difference. Annie is absolutely outstanding and truly defines what customer service should be. She is warm, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and supported. You can tell she genuinely cares, and her energy carries through the entire team. Speaking of the team, it’s clear that Michael and Annie have built something special. Their staff is knowledgeable, patient, and just as dedicated. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We’ve used several of their services including board and train, boarding, and grooming, and every single experience has been nothing short of stellar. It’s rare to find a place where you feel completely confident leaving your “dog child”. Another thing that really stands out is how impeccably clean and safe the facilities are. Everything is well maintained, organized, and clearly designed with the dogs’ well-being and safety in mind. That peace of mind is priceless. Most importantly, they didn’t just help Tank improve, they helped him thrive. And they gave us the tools and confidence to keep that progress going at home. If you are looking for a place that truly understands dogs and treats them like family, Your Dogs Guru is it. We are beyond grateful for everything they’ve done for Tank and for us.

Sent our 6 mo labradoodle for the board and train program, encouraged by staff that the program was very appropriate for his age. 2 videos send during entire 2 week stay. At pick up, he had lost 25% of his weight and appeared impaired. Took him to Blue Pearl where he spent 36 hours in ICU with gastroparesis and dehydration. (We are lucky he survived) I thought these dog professionals would have noticed something wrong. And, the dog learned nothing during his stay except to fear boarding. Caveat emptor
