About Yuruani Olguin Dog Training
Yuruani Olguin is the founder of Yuruani Olguin Dog Training, Inc. She has worked extensively with clients throughout New York City, helping build relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. Yuruani is CPDT-KA certified and her training is based on force-free techniques, taking into account all aspects of each individual dog’s situation, including breed, background, temperament and, very importantly, household environment. Yuruani is also a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She specializes in working with clients whose dogs suffer from separation anxiety through a humane systematic desensitization protocol. Her goal is to help dogs and their humans live a happy and healthy life together.

My wife and I hired Yuri to train our goldendoodle puppy Ellie. We purchased the private full course package and couldn't be happier with the results. Despite having a very limited attention span, our puppy learned sit, down, touch, come, drop, leave it and a home command among others. Yuri was also always available to answer all our questions about Ellie's puppy quirks and provide extremely helpful tips. Yuri also helped us establish a schedule for Ellie, which aided with house breaking. Ellie adored Yuri and we humans found her to be a pleasure to work with as well! We highly recommend working with Yuri for all your puppy training need!
My dog was having a lot of behavioral issues - including nipping, problems walking, and responding to commands. After a few lessons with Yuruani, our dog has completely changed. None of this would have been possible without her and am so grateful for her lessons!

Thanks to Yuri we no longer have a crazy pup but a very well behaved dog! She is very patient and only uses positive reinforcement. She has a calm energy and communicates so effectively with dogs- she truly is a dog whisperer! She is very professional and knowledgeable- she always has a solution to our many questions! Even though we are done with our lessons, she has offered to be available for any questions we may have in the future which is so reassuring. Look no further you have found the best trainer for your dog!
