FirstBarkOur 7 year old Golden Retriever was having a hard time liking his crate. He is a rescue. We feel the first 5 years of his life involved a lot of alone, crate time. Sara took on the task and our Cody has responded to her great training skill. So has the rest of the family! Thank you Sara from this grateful family!

Do you do service dog training?
I am not a certified service dog trainer. However, I would always be happy to help teach your service dog any basic and advanced obedience commands it would need to know, such as “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “come”, etc. Any service related commands would likely need to be referred out to a trainer that specializes in training service dogs. Thank you!

I highly recommend Sara. Never having had a puppy before, I wanted to make sure to get Leo and us off on the right foot and contacted Sara shortly after we got him and began working with her off and on over his first year of life. He is now a 100 pound 1.5 year old dog and I am so grateful I decided to work with Sara early on. He walks very well on the leash and follows a variety of commands. Given his size, we would have been in trouble quickly if he had not received some solid training! I know we will continue to work with Sara in the future!

I wholeheartedly recommend Sara’s Walk & Train program! My labradoodle, as a pup, started out as a decent on-leash walker. But, as time progressed with no formal training, three year old Teddy became a heck of a “puller” and walks were a source of aggravation. Sara worked with Teddy 2-3 times a week for several weeks. Watching her patience with him was very inspiring! Watching Teddy’s progression was amazing! We had “homework” along the way which really helped my understanding of the program. It also allowed me to have fun with Teddy, outside of walks, during his one-on-one training with Sara. Walks are enjoyable again (yay!) and Sara equipped us with the tools to continue to improve our consistency! If you are considering this training, all I can say is, “Do it!”
