Zen Dog Training Dojo

I rescued a 12wk old puppy (lab/chow mix) from my grandad. She was eating my shoes off my feet, biting me constantly, basically herding me and trying to be the boss. I was completely lost - and scared of her honestly. This was not your average puppy. I started lessons with Benjamin and through those gained a great deal of understanding about how to communicate effectively with dogs, and went from being scared of dogs to feeling confident in handling them now. My dog wouldn't have made it elsewhere, I'm so thankful she found me, and that I found Benjamin. He taught me how to properly handle these situations in a way where she now understands I'm in charge of things - not the other way around. I'm confident in leash walking, recall, basic handling, and understanding that my dog needs a job and he has helped me find many ways to redirect her drive through training. He's a great teacher and understands dog behavior well. She's fully part of the family now and is thriving. I honestly believe she would have been euthanized elsewhere. She is an extremely highly driven dog - intimidating, and a bit wild. If you are committed to the training you'll see a huge difference in your dogs happiness too.

After an expensive failed attempt at training our dog Lucy with another trainer in Birmingham, a friend suggested we try Zendog training before giving up on having a normal dog. Their trainer, Ben, suggested that she spend 2 weeks with him in his home, and we are so glad that we did. When she returned home she was a different dog! She walked with her head high and was no longer skiddish! We highly recommend Zendog Training Dojo to our friends and family!
