Zenergy Dog Training

I can’t rave enough about Zenergy Dog Training! My husband and I decided to finally get our pit mix properly trained and I am so grateful we did. She had such a hard time being around other dogs when she was on a leash – we had to avoid all of our neighbors walking their dogs when we wanted to take her for a walk and could never take her to a public place where other dogs might be. She also was completely stubborn and would refuse to obey commands, in addition to being overall quite anxious. After training with Zenergy, she is a new dog! She is no longer the anxious dog who goes crazy around other dogs. She is calm, obeys our commands and has no problem going anywhere with us now regardless of how many other dogs are around. She is significantly less anxious in every setting. K took the time to explain her methods in detail and then trained us how to continually reinforce the skills our dog has learned. She has been great about answering all of our questions since we got our pup back home. I cannot recommend Zenergy Dog Training enough. Thanks to K we can now share so much more of our lives with our dog. We have the well-behaved dog we always wanted!

I want to give a huge thank you to Zenergy dog training for making my 8 month old King Charles spaniel a well rounded, well behaved puppy. I brought in my little Katie to Zenergy because she was showing signs of becoming overly needy and protective of me. I have 3 children and didn’t have time to train Katie properly. After boot camp, I was absolutely amazed at her transformation!! My little Katie is now a happy, well rounded, obedient dog. She understands the ecollar, performs all of her obedience offleash, has a bomb proof recall, sleeps happily in her crate and has a sense of purpose! Without Zenergy I don’t think Katie would be the dog she is today.

I highly recommend Zenergy dog training! K and RJ are amazing. My 8 month old golden doodle, Lucy, had become very fearful of strangers and I was worried she would eventually bite someone out of fear. Taking her in public had become very difficult. On top of that she had endless energy at home and would chew shoes. After the boot camp Lucy is a whole new dog and I am a whole new dog owner! At home Lucy is calm and behaved and I am less stressed. We can go in public and strangers can pet her and I’m not worried she will bite them. If she does become afraid I now have the tools to help her. K and RJ sent pictures, videos and updates while Lucy was with them. They also provided all the help I needed and answered my endless questions once I brought her home. Sending her to Zenergy was the best decision I could have made!

Over the past 4 years, I have worked with a number of trainers and spent thousands of dollars attempting to correct my dog’s leash aggression. They all fell short of resolving the problem, made promises they couldn’t deliver on and some suggested putting my dog down. K is the only trainer I would trust. Joplin immediately responded to K’s behavioral training methods and so did I. If you want lasting results, go to Zenergy. You and your dog will be well rewarded for it.

Before we met K & RJ, my husband and I had settled in with the thought that we may have to turn to behavioral euthanasia (a conclusion that still pains us) for our Henry, until we met K & RJ. After our nearly 2 year old dog Henry nipped my sister (this wasn't the first time that he had nipped, lunged, stalked, growled, or attempted to attack someone) I spent the next 36 hours aggressively searching options to save Henry. I say save because truly, we had exhausted all other resources and with no successful outcomes. We had virtually become prisoner's in our own home as having social events at our house was no longer an option - and quite frankly, we were nervous to start a family of our own because Henry was terrified and aggressive towards children. Henry is wonderful with other dogs, but with human's, he had an over abundance of anxiety and a lack of confidence which manifested into fear-based aggression. After narrowing down our options and zeroing in on Zenergy as the ideal training for Henry, we decided to move forward with a 5 1/2 week bootcamp. This is where words escape me to describe the transformation we watched happen to Henry. We learned everything we were doing before (which we thought was helping) was actually fostering an environment for rewarding Henry to continue his aggressive behavior. K & RJ held our hand through this whole process, empowering us to become the best leaders we could be for Henry. Through strong leadership and keeping up the skills we learned through K & RJ, I am over-the-moon to report our boy is truly a whole new dog. He is happier than ever, understands the commands and what is expected of him and most of all, safe to have as a member of our family. We are no longer afraid to have people over to our house or start a family in the near future. To say K & RJ are miracle workers is an understatement. Our biggest regret -- not coming to them sooner! We are truly living our best lives with Henry.
