We took our 7 month old lab puppy to Zion Kennels for basic obedience training. Mac was there about 5 weeks and learned so much! They not only trained Mac but also taught us proper handling skills. Erin was really good about sending us regular updates and photos during Mac’s time at training. Good folks with a ton of experience training at all levels from basic to competition training.
We took our Chocolate Lab to Zion Kennels after multiple breeders recommended. I can not speak highly enough about Eddie and his team. They were extremely kind, fair and loving of our pup and knew when to train her hard when needed. Nala has been amazing in the house and confident in the field. There’s no doubt that I will send my future labs to Zion Kennels.
Took my yellow lab there for some training. He was scared ti get in the water and gun shy. After 4 months this is a new dog. Highly recommend Eddie.

Zion Kennels is a wonderful opportunity to have your dog learn obedience and to bring out the best hunting dog in them. We purchased our 1st retriever hunting dog (AKC Lab) in many years, and I wanted to ensure regardless of how much I may or may not hunt game birds that she had the opportunity to develop all the hunting skills she could. Also, to add to her retriever skills, shed hunting/retrieving was incorporated into her training. During the approximately 3.5 months our lab was with Eddie and his staff at Zion Kennels, we visited and worked in training our lab. Everyone was always professional, polite, and took the time to explain the training/commands as well as affectionate/loving towards our pup as if she where theirs. I can’t thank Zion Kennel’s enough and look forward to further advance training for our pup in the future. Thanks Again!
