Zoom Room Dog Training

I had previously had a rough time with a previous pup at our first visit and he sadly passed prior to 6 months old. When the team at Zoom Room learned of this they extended everything they could to help my new pup. Very recently and now that the new pup is at his 9 month old owning the world mode, I’ve joined the family again to make me and my dog the dynamic duo. I learned their way is the way. Stacy VanCsrdo

I was too eager to join Zoom. The facilities are wonderful and I bought the VIP package without an evaluation. It ends up they didn’t know how to handle my dog, Nolan. He wanted to make friends with other dogs but when he wasn’t allowed to, he continuously barked. He was hitched on a hook and could not go but a foot or two from the wall. They told me had high anxiety and wanted him on medication. My vet didn’t think he showed signs of anxiety but gave me the prescription. When I told the trainer I was told I should get a more knowledgeable vet… They did transfer my group lessons to fewerone-on-ones. During the one on one they did the evaluation that should not have been charged. Three sessions They played the “Name Game” even though Nolan knew his name. He became ostracized as they would only schedule him if no other dogs were around. And if another dog would show up they would ask the owner to take their dog to the furthest point away from exit so my dog wouldn’t interfere and immediately leave. After paying over $1000, I got no where. I took my Dog to PetImpact for their opinion and they had no problem. However they didn’t put him on meds right or tie him up. The class of four dogs began with “ play time” so the dogs got to know each other. During the eight sessions my dog did not bark once. He learned training by positive reinforcement and the two of us gained much! Our bond is closer. Pet Impact did more in eight classes with positive reinforcement than Zoom ever did one-on-one. I have a huge numbers of personal training and when I told the zoom trainer how my dog reacted positively I was told they couldn’t train him that way. . He had to fit in their program. I really took a huge loss since I spent over $1000 for the VIP membership. My original plan was for Nolan and I to help those in hospice but now I can not recoup the money to see that plan become reality. The trainers at zoom are very friendly and nice, but they couldn’t train my dog. Be Cautious! Also check out Jennifer Maurer at PetImpact.
