Zoom Room Dog Training

I'm just going to share my experience but I encourage others to get their own opinion. People: The lady named Katie who works at the front desk is super nice and super sweet. Very knowledgeable and a great gal to chat with. The rest of the trainers all seem like very nice good people as well so you definitely would be heading into a friendly atmosphere. In regards to training and the class I wasn't the biggest fan I've been interested in getting into agility and so I signed up for one of their free practice classes. If you are wanting to seriously get into agility, do not go here. If you're just looking for something fun and silly to do with your dog then maybe consider it. I've done a lot of training with my dog and I've worked with various trainers over the years and I walked into that room and I felt like I knew more than the trainers. When introducing agility equipment to dogs who have never seen it at all, it is beneficial for you to allow the dog to take in the space, sniff and experience the equipment instead of assuming they know what to do with it. This did not happen, you were asked to step into the ring and then immediately do a jump, A-frame and then a jump again. I have a personal friend who actually competes in agility and when I was telling her about my experience she was annoyed as there can be huge safety risks with some of these equipments the dogs use in agility. Especially things like the A-frame, hoop jump, etc. It was the trainer's responsibility to educate us on the equipment we were using and educate us on the potential safety risks so we can advance and practice properly and safely with our canine. This did not happen, the dogs are just thrown in without allowing them the opportunity to acknowledge their atmosphere And any potential risks. I truly didn't feel like there was much training done. In regards to pricing, it fills corporate and very pricey. When there are more professional places for better prices. If you just want to have a silly play time with your dog then sure go check them out! The staff are very nice. If you want to get some good training for your dog, I highly recommend positive pets, and if you want to do agility, check out Q-quest or D4.
