Zoom Room Dog Training

I am very excited to have found Zoom Room (Clifton Park) for my three German Shepherds. All the staff are very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I love all the choices of classes from Obedience to Agility to an open Playtime for pups, up to 8 mos. old. I'm also interested in their Therapy Dog class for one of my Shepherds. My pups are so eager to come to class! I love that it keeps them used to meeting new dogs weekly and reduces the chance for dog reactivity to take hold. I pay a monthly fee for unlimited group classes (plus 2 private classes each month). With multiple dogs, I am grateful that they offer this choice. It keeps training two pups quite affordable. The energy at Zoom Room is always upbeat and very positive...I highly recommend you check them out! 🐕‍🦺

We cannot recommend ZoomRoom enough. The puppy preschool class is the perfect class for our puppy Rex. He has learned so much while also getting to play and socialize in a safe, structured environment. It’s the perfect balance of fun and learning, and it’s been amazing to see how quickly he's grown in confidence and behavior. The trainers are incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer our questions. We have felt so supported every step of the way. Even our groomer recently commented on how well-behaved Rex is! We’re also so impressed by the variety of classes offered. There are so many great opportunities to continue training as our puppy grows. We can’t wait to move on to Puppy Plus and beyond! Highly recommend to anyone looking for thoughtful, professional, and positive dog training.

In response to your reply - We did mention all 4 occasions that she had nipped. We mentioned we had no issues in a year since we had another trainer over to our house to give us advice on her anxiety and she was seen by the vet and is now on anti-anxiety medication. We said all of this prior to scheduling the initial evaluation, which was described as her being presented with a large stuffed dog to see how she would react. Our goal for having her evaluated was to get her to socialize with other dogs as she runs back into the house when other dogs bark. We were very honest and transparent about our dog’s issues as we did not want her to do anything to other dogs or people, and after we disclosed all of this, we were scheduled for her initial evaluation. ************ We have a dog with anxiety and these “dog trainers” refused to even evaluate her because a year ago she nipped at a few people due to her anxiety. She is by no means an aggressive dog and we proved it by walking in the door and she greeted the “dog trainer” happily. There were no issues and she was excited to be there but they immediately dismissed her and told us to go to another trainer. Don’t waste your time or money here if you have a dog with anxiety.
