Zoom Room Dog Training

Our dog Eevee has been through a lot. From the streets of Fresno, CA she was picked up, spayed, chipped and put in a shelter in hopes of adoption. When it was clear that no one was going to choose her, she was sent to Oregon. Covid was at its height, and the quarantine was about to go into effect. We were home all day with nowhere to go. The perfect time for a new dog, right? We scoured the adoption sites until we came across a dog that fit; super adorable and requiring some work. Our first night with her was challenging, as was the first week, and the first month, but she slowly blossomed with our care and attention. Over the next few years she would ease into the good life, and develop the sweetest personality. We were proud of our little pup, but we wanted her life to be even more full. As two millennials with fur children, we did what everyone does: we found somewhere Eevee could play; we found the Zoom Room. Unsure of how well Eevee would do in this type of setting, we were encouraged by the wonderful staff and their love and dedication towards all of the dogs that entered. Eevee transformed from a small, scared dog in new surroundings, to a confident, playful puppy. Starting with a few solo gym experiences, where she was able to run around and get comfortable with the space and with the agility equipment, she quickly graduated into group classes and began working on her badges and manners. Now she is a proud conqueror of obedience and is diving head first into agility. We love our dog, and every person in the Zoom Room does as well. We couldn’t think of a better place for dogs from all walks of life, and for pet-parents who want nothing more than their dogs to live happy, fulfilling lives.
