We are so grateful for the incredible training our dog Oso received over the past 8 weeks at Zrodfx K9 Dog Training. TJ is truly gifted—his patience, expertise, and natural ability with dogs set him apart. During his time there, Oso not only learned obedience skills but also gained so much confidence. The training camp itself is absolutely beautiful. Located on a huge piece of property just outside of Castle Rock, it’s a peaceful and spacious setting where the dogs (and horses) clearly thrive. You can tell the animals are cared for in a wonderful environment, which made us feel so comfortable leaving Oso there. What stood out most to us is that the training wasn’t just about Oso—it was about us, too. TJ gave us the tools, guidance, and confidence to continue reinforcing the training at home, which makes all of Oso’s hard work this summer feel sustainable long-term. We’re also excited to take advantage of the boarding discount whenever we travel. Having the peace of mind that Oso will be in such capable and caring hands is truly invaluable. We are grateful to have TJ as a lifelong resource too! We can’t recommend him enough.

We adopted a pitty mix from the Humane Society who turned out to be reactive with our other dogs, we reached out to Zrodfx for training and are so happy we did! TJ trained our dog like he would his own! he not only trained basic commands but advanced commands, got him treadmill trained and helped us to understand and aid with handling a dog that is high energy and overstimulated. we now have a very happy dog that is getting the responses need to be a part of his pack and the family!

I cannot recommend TJ and Zrodfx K9 Dog Training highly enough! When I first brought my dog Zeke to Zrodfx, he lacked confidence and exhibited anxious behavior in new situations and, on occasion, aggressive behavior around other dogs. From the very first session, TJ displayed patience, compassion, and expertise. He took the time to understand Zeke’s fears and worked at his pace, never rushing the process. TJ’s positive reinforcement techniques, coupled with his deep understanding of canine behavior, created a safe and supportive environment where Zeke could slowly build his confidence. TJ celebrates even the smallest victories, which made a huge difference not just for Zeke but for me as well. He equipped me with practical tools and personalized exercises to continue the work at home, always encouraging me and answering every question with care and detail. Today Zeke is more likely to approach new experiences with curiosity rather than fear or aggression and is becoming the happy, fun-loving pup I knew he could be.
We had the best experience with TJ and his team. Our puppy went to training with 100% energy and zero skills. She came back with the perfect combination of training to ensure she continues to thrive in all kinds of environments.
