Led by experienced trainer James, the program focuses on Confidence-Led training and leash behavior transformation to help dogs become calm, reliable companions. Training takes place in your dog’s real environment, so skills work in everyday life. Programs include private one-on-one training for leash pulling, reactive behavior, recall, and off-leash reliability for hiking and outdoor adventures. James is also the author of Can I Say Hello To Your Dog?, a guide to leash training. Every program begins with a free in-home consultation!

Advanced K9 Academy trains Colorado's most charming family and working dogs. We Offer in-home training & board and train. In-home dog training consists of weekly visits from a certified dog trainer. Your dog trainer will assess your dog’s specific learning style, and compose a training program based off your needs. At the end of each training session, you will receive clearly defined homework and each lesson builds off the prior lesson.Your dog also have the option to live with us, while receiving quality training.
