Handler/Trainer apprentice program that sets the foundation for Master Trainer level. Individuals with special wants or needs have the ability of obtaining a therapy dog to help aid in the walks of everyday life.

Programs include canine good citizen preparation, obedience training and puppy training.

We train starting from Basic Obedience, all the way to full Off Leash training depending on what you want for your dog. During the 30 year span of Kris training dogs, 18 of them was spent as the commander of the Port Arthur Police Department K9 Unit. He has since retired and trains dogs at home! He has helped regular dog owners as well as police and military handlers. He has trained some of the most vicious dogs as well as sweet and submissive. We believe the relationship between dog and owner gets so much better once the dog Listens and respects the owners commands like walking on and off leash and heeling etc. We are here to ensure you and your pet live a full happy life together.

Maltac K9 is a veteran owned business based out of central Ohio. Currently we provide obedience and specialized training, but we are looking to build a dedicated facility near Ostrander that will provide a location for those services as well as home/handler protection training, indoor dock diving, agility/obstacle courses, indoor play areas for safe off leash fun, and for those who love river expeditions with their dogs along with kayaking routes along the Scioto river! We will also provide kenneling (and all of our services will be available to kenneled dogs for a small charge). We at Maltac K9 love adventures with dogs, and our goal is to set up a safe environment where dogs and owners can bond and share time together!

We are a small dog training and boarding facility located in McLoud. We offer obedience and puppy training, available in both group and private sessions. We also provide limited boarding and agility classes.

Courses 1. Beginners ages 8 to 20 weeks 5 day course $500 upon arrival. 2. Obedience course ages 4 months and up 10 days $1,000 upon arrival. 3. Total Transformation is a 20 day course for upcoming service dogs. This course is $2000 upon arrival. 4. Total Transformation Master Class is a 2 30 day course. This is for service dogs and service dogs in training. It’s also for K9’s with issues. Such as biting, no recall, table surfing, etc. 1. We offer boarding to K9’s that have been trained here. We do not keep them in a crate. They get to be just like our baby’s and have the run of the house and safe with a fenced in yard and 24/7 supper vision. This is $30 a day.

OT Kennels provides professional training and care for pet dogs, family companions, sport dogs, protection dogs, detection dogs and police K-9s. Led by a PSA Worlds competitor, we offer pet obedience, behavior training, board-and-train programs, boarding, doggy daycare, dock-diving lessons, PSA sport work, personal and family protection and handler coaching. We also provide narcotics and explosives-odor detection training and professional detection sweeps. Every program is customized to the dog’s temperament, abilities and purpose.
