Private dog training

One on one training done in your home will fix most behavioral issues in 4 to 6 weeks. We specialize in reactive dogs and also take the time to address any of the issues you are facing with your dog. We also teach basic manners, puppy basics, leash manners, potty training, crate training, and fix jumping on guests. With Gentle Canines, we teach your dog to bond with you and listen to your commands! Gentle Canines began with a goal to keep dogs with their families. Too many dogs are rehomed, surrendered to shelters, and euthanized every year due to behaviors that can be fixed. Our goal is to help you gain the tools necessary to have a loving member of your household that you can love on and be proud to have around your family and others.

Programs include canine good citizen preparation, obedience training and private training.

John and Mandy are an Exeter, New Hampshire-based team who founded Great Bay K9 in 2021 when they recognized the need for personalized one-on-one training sessions based on their client’s specific training goals and lifestyles that could be completed at their own home. Since then our goal at Great Bay K9 has been to provide the greater Seacoast area in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts with exceptional training results through the use of innovative and advanced techniques.

K9 Nose Work® - scent detection for pet dogs - provides mental and physical exercise and builds a dog's confidence and focus. In return, you will learn more about your dog and admire his superior scenting skills at work. Enjoy a fun and "no pressure" activity together and develop an even stronger bond with your dog! Dogs are worked one at a time, and exercises are adapted to each handler/dog team. Our K9 Nose Work® services are provided by a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI™). No prior obedience training required! All breeds and breed mixes welcome!

Holly's K9 Campus Dog Training offers structured, results-driven dog training focused on obedience, enrichment, and real-life manners. Led by AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluators, we provide professional training for puppies and adult dogs through private lessons, enrichment-based programs, and our Enriched Day Training program. Our approach emphasizes clear communication, calm structure, and consistency to help dogs thrive at home and in everyday environments. Small group sizes, individualized attention, and thoughtful training plans ensure quality results without chaos. Training is by appointment and enrollment only.
