I believe nothing is more important than being happy with your dog. I know it’s impossible to be happy all the time, but I strive to set every client up for as many happy days and moments as possible. Science has proven that by using positive reinforcement, we can train dogs in a way that is fun and rewarding for both you and your dog! Let me show you how to communicate your wants and rules to your dog in a way that will make them happy to listen to you! Both you and your dog will be willing participants in training!

We believe every dog can be taught to be a good citizen. There are no “bad” or “stubborn” dogs, only dogs who have had the misfortune of a bad experience or who do not understand what their owner is trying to teach them. We work with owners to learn how to instill confidence and trust in their companions. We do this using positive reinforcement training theory. We recognize every dog is an individual and we do not use “cookie cutter” techniques, but use techniques that will be most effective for the dog in front of us. We encourage enrichment activities that include play and games.

Founder, Katie McCrillis has over 25 years working with animal behavior as a behavioral neuroscientist and is an expert in training and rehabilitating dogs with a variety of needs. We use force-free training and positive reinforcement methods and offer plans that cater to your schedule and goals.
