FirstBarkA Bark Idea has been amazing for our chocolate lab pup! She gets so excited when we walk to the door and they share a lot of pics while we’re traveling, which the family loves. I would highly recommend A Bark Idea for their excellent service and care for their dogs!

We are a certified positive reinforcement dog training company! We believe in using only humane and scientific based training methods to help your dog be the best she can be! We also offer a boutique style dog daycare and boarding to help your pup feel like she is staying in her home away from home. Our top priority is the safety and happiness of each dog we care for! We, and most importantly, our dog, absolutely love A Bark Idea! They take the best care of her for both daycare and boarding, and keep us updated with the cutest pictures! We also used them for board and train when our dog was a puppy, and they helped her learn how to be a polite girl and learn commands like sit, lay down, go to your bed, etc. They treat each dog as if they are their own, and we trust them implicitly with our fur baby. Could not recommend them more for all training, doggy daycare and boarding needs!
It’s so nice knowing that our puppy is happy and safe when we have to leave him for an extended time. I’d recommend A Bark Idea to anyone with a dog they love. An extra bonus is that they also send the best photo updates.

We love this place! It’s well run and I appreciate the communication from the owners. Our dog has an absolute blast there and we feel lucky to have them! I appreciate that they are skilled trainers so I know I have great care even when I’m just doing regular boarding or daycare. Bonus: the cutest pics of our dog are sent to us while we’re away!
