A Very Good K9

Haley and Austin are the absolute BEST! We adopted our 5yo Belgian Malinois from a shelter. She was reactive, hard to take on walks, lunging at other dogs, chasing after our cats at home. She went through the 4 weeks B&T program with A Very Good K9 and what an amazing transformation! Our walks are so much more enjoyable, we are able to go hiking with friends and their dogs, go to the beach on dog hours, bring her camping with us, and we can have fun at home too! She really blossomed! But the best part about Haley and Austin is their patience and non judgmental and open minded attitude when teaching us, the owners, the different tricks and behaviors to adopt to have the best relationship with our dog! And it doesn't stop here: even after the training, Haley and Austin stay available for any question or concern we may have, even recommending options for doggy daycare. So thankful for them!

Haley and Austin put our mind at ease during a stressful time of planning and celebrating our wedding. Our pup, Rayna, was in such great hands. Also, taught her in 4 weeks. Dealing with a hyper pup was not just stressful at times for us but her as well. They helped us also understand how together work through it. I truly can’t speak highly enough about them and the experiences they provided not just to us but our furbaby. Forever grateful!

We did a 4 week program and all I can say is wow!! We were really worried about leaving our Maverick with them for 4 weeks but everyday they reached out to us with video and pictures on progress and everyday we got excited to watch the progress. He’s been back with us for about a month and I can now take him outside and on any trail and he stays right by us. We put him in place and can go do things around the house with him staying on his bed or putting him to his crate without him crying. All of our friends and family have been amazed at how well he’s trained. I recommend them to anyone and will use them going forward.

We were so lucky to find Haley and Austin! Their training approach of helping your dog understand boundaries in order to give them freedom & working with, not breaking their personalities, is in short, amazing and highly effective! We were very nervous to send our pup away for a month, but after speaking with Haley extensively about their process, knew it was the right decision. It turned out to be the best thing we could have done for our relationship with our little guy. He came back with an excellent listening ear and an excitement about making good choices and all the rewards that come along with that. We will definitely be bringing him back to them for more board and trains in the future! Could not recommend them enough!
