A Very Good K9

We did the 4 week obedience board & train program for our 70 lb St. Berdoodle Brisket. He made so many friends, learned such great behaviors, and training! He knows his commands, behaves around other dogs and people, all the good things! Haley & Austin checked in often. One tip i have for other doodle/high maintenance breeds is to do a short hair cut / full groom prior to going to make sure they don’t end up with matting or anything from all the playing they do there!!

We sent our English Bulldog, Jack, to Haley and Austin’s 4-week training program, and the change in him has been nothing short of amazing. Before training, Jack was a lovable but untrained bulldog who had a mind of his own, especially when it came to playtime. If he had a ball, there was no chance of getting it back without a fight. Now, thanks to the clear structure and consistency he learned during training, he will happily drop the ball the second I say “out.” It makes playtime so much more fun and stress-free for both of us and around other dogs. He goes to work with my fiancé Connor every day and is completely reliable off-leash with incredible recall. He can stay in place until released, walks great by our side, and greets every guest politely (no longer jumps all over them!). Everywhere we go, people comment on what a well-behaved, sweet dog he is. It is so nice to be able to take him to dog friendly restaurants and stores. We are so grateful for the time, patience, and expertise Haley and Austin poured into Jack’s training. They didn’t just teach him skills; they gave him the confidence and consistency he needed to thrive. We truly couldn’t recommend them enough — having a dog is definitely an investment and this was the best investment we could have ever made in Jack! We have recommended Haley & Austin to multiple friends and will continue to do so!

Austin and Haley are amazing with dogs. Our dog Luke was a foster dog for them and they worked with him to get him ready for a new home. My husband met Luke and had to have him! Luke is so well behaved. He aims to please. Has great recall. He is not on leash unless he has to. E as he is such a well behaved dog. He was very sketchy of men when we got him. He still is in some cases but he has definitely come out of his shell and he very friendly, lovable and loyal. Austin and Haley are always offering in going advice and tips! I highly recommend

I can’t say enough good things about A Very Good K9! Austin and Haley helped my highly anxious, reactive dog become so much calmer and more confident. I was nervous about sending her away for a month, but they made me feel totally comfortable, sent regular updates, and answered every question thoroughly. They clearly care deeply about the dogs they train, and it shows. Even after training, they continue to check in and offer helpful advice and resources. Not only were they able to solve the root cause of my dog’s anxiety but also teach me how to manage it as well.
