We adopted a rescue pup and wanted to make sure we started out right. Our stubborn, short-attention-span puppy only knew sit. He transformed over a few months: walking on a loose leash, sitting and staying for several minutes, etc. Due to the urban location, both you and your dog will be trained in the real world, surrounded by all the distractions you'll be confronted with when you are out and about. I could hardly imagine our pup walking single-file with other dogs down a sidewalk along bustling Georgia Avenue, but he did! Other times, when we experienced minor setbacks, Haywood and staff would provide their expert guidance by phone between lessons and it was obvious they really care about dogs. We are happy with our decision to go with Haywood and team. Update: the store has a wide selection of treats and chews at reasonable prices for your pup!
